That'd be really off the mark. Plus, Joker is (at least supposedly) dead. Not that would necessarily stop it from happening, but still.
The earth prime timeline is different joker even if dead they introduced the jokers daughter in season 1 and they could introduce a new joker in the comics there is more than one
We were introduced to the concept of him being dead ON Earth-Prime.
Honestly i'd never like any show about the Bat Family to have the Joker in it. Even though Kate Kane is not the star of her own show anymore apparently. He's Batman's nemesis and not only that, is a character whose only interesting dynamic is when he is around Bruce. Batgirl I guess is kinda an exception to this as Barbara's PTSD with the Joker is a major foundation of her arc as Oracle, but nobody else really has a real connection to the Joker as a plotline.
If titans, the
matt reves batman trilogy, DCEU, Warner bros does not use Batgirl or joker batwoman could use them way later
Actually they cast Barbara for The Batman already. So yeah, DC's keeping her off limits. Plus it's also not her show.
As for Joker, if there's a Batman project, he's in it. Plus now he has his own solo movies. They keep a perm lock on him. Not that it matters cause again, this isn't Batman's show. At least Gotham not being allowed the Joker was ridiculous by the end of the series.
Ok joker, batgirl off limits but what about going into batwomans supernatural elements that she has been known for in the comcs
Pointless. Believe me, I wished for that part too. It's what makes her books so good, but without Kate Kane, the prophecy she is involved in and all of the supporting characters typically in her world when Gotham faces the Supernatural in her books, it's utterly void now. It's why recasting was a better option than replacing.
Recasting would be hard because the character they created was Taylor made for ruby rose
They didn't create Batwoman. As we both know, Batwoman has lore and comics before Ruby Rose played the role herself. They absolutely could recast. Yes, the tattoos thing was added by Ruby having way too many tattoos to cover, but that is it, and they can easily either add in the ones Ruby already had or retcon them entirely. They don't exactly play an important role to Kate Kane as a person. (Especially since one of Ruby's tats is a cross and Kate is jewish)
The show was started at a weird time they should have started it after crisis so ruby could have decided and the possible new face could be explained and production could prepare
What do you think?
