With the new season of Superheroes shows coming back shortly and details about the new crossover titled "Elsewords" I want to make some predictions about everything moving forward such as characters, story lines, settings, etc. Let's start with the new characters, It is going to be so cool to finally meet Lois Lane, Imean we've met her sister Lucy and Superman has mentioned her before as well so it was only a matter of time before she was brought into the picture. Batwoman will also be appearing and let's be honest she will get her own solo series after this next year which I am excited about. superman will also make a comeback which if you ask me is long overdue. John Deegan as a evil doctor at Arkham asylum sounds rather interesting to me, let's see what his plans are and what his endgame is for all of our heroes, Nora Freeze aka Mr.Freeze's wife is also a cool addition to the casts although it does not make sense if your going to introduce her and not her infamous husband but that's not to say that he might not make a full appearance somewhere down the line or at least a cameo and finally The Monitor who observes and protects the Multiverse which could be a big indication for what's to come and something I know a lot of people have been waiting and hoping for "Crisis on Infinite Earths" yeeeessss. now for story lines, we know Batwoman and Gotham City are being introduced so it would be cool to see some baddies who have not made live-action appearances before from Gotham finally make a debut and with the evil doctor Deegan who is said to be just a crazy taking the helm by perhaps leading them as the boss, It will be fun to see what their evil plot is and the cool fight scenes between the heroes and them. also it will be Interesting to see how The Monitor fits into all of this as well; maybe he needs help with something like stopping a cough cough "anti-monitor" from destroying the multiverse and all of reality so he can recreate everything and rule it all. or perhaps he needs help with something but whatever it is, it could which really means will lead to the anti-monitor and crisis which most likely happen for the next crossover if not this one. finally settings, from what we know, it does not appear that this crossover will take place on Earth 1 or 38 or any other known earth in the multiverse, considering the title which is based on publication imprint comics books which took place in alternate realities themselves, it is most likely a new earth and universe that will be revealed like how "Earth-X" was. I'll be honest I think it will be "Earth-11" where the genders of superheroes are reversed which would actually help explain batwoman without there being a batman because on this earth there never was a batman, problem solved. however I could be wrong. I think it's a shame really because this would have been a perfect opportunity to put more superheroes on Earth-38 with Kara and the DEO and Maggie who Kate actually has been in a relationship with and it would have been fun to see the relationships that they would all have. regardless whatever they {the writers} have decided, it will still be interested to see but I still think it's a wasted opportunity, that's all. now for the future and this is my final and favorite topic, Infinite crisis and a multiverse merger, as I have said before, a lot of people have been hoping and waiting for this to happen, personally I think it can wait at least until next year's crossover but if it happens now so be it. I think it has a lot of pros then cons for a lot of characters and shows. if it does happen then cool, it would be cool to see Earth-38 and Earth-1 merge into one new earth and universe as well as the other earths while we're at it, think about it, it would be so cool to see Jesse, Harrison, Jay, Gypsy, Breacher, the ray, earth-x Leo and so on become apart of this new earth to. earth 2, 3, 19 and x they should all merge with it to as well as whatever earth Batwoman might be on and while we're at it "Black Lighting" and whatever earth they are on as well. problem solved for everyone, one earth-one universe, no more inter-dimensional travel. also if the Anti-Monitor does not appear then fine but I think do it would be cool if he made a cameo at the end where it was somewhere in the universe and was dormant and suddenly out of nowhere it is awakened to indicate what's coming next. also and final question topic I promise lol, who is disappointed in the legends not being apart of this year's crossover, personally I am but I do understand considering their involvement, they time travel and everyone else jumps into portals into other dimensions so they are not exactly a good fit but still I would like them to be involved somehow, perhaps they could make a cameo; we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. so tell me what everyone thinks.

that is irrelevant. logic does not always work as we think it does. Stephen Amell had said that arrow will probably cross over with black lightning and when people start talking and putting ideals out there online they most likely come true, they just do. If they have to travel to the crossover then fine they will, I know it's a headache but they have done it before on the other shows so why can't they do it again. in any case as I said before Black lightning can make some kind of appearance like a special guest star like 90's flash or make a cameo, it does not have to be anything big and epic. as for the future we will have to wait and see, besides nothing is ever set in stone. Black lightning teaming up with Superman makes since they do have history in the comics. I think everyone would be willing to make the trip especially Stephen.
Interesting because the last time I check super girl still crossed over with the flash during her first season on CBS so that's kind do irrelevant now isn't it. I do not know why you are so against the ideal, I mean honestly does it really bother you that much. CBS choose to cancel them due to low ratings. as for the CW they picked it up after they originally rejected the show when it was being pitched. as for Black lightning filming in Atlanta, that's also irrelevant; they could change filming locations anytime as they please to. do not say no to change because anything that can happen will happen. we do not know what is going to happen to Salim Akil because yeah for the moment it is up in the air and we do not know what will happen until it happens. Black lightning might appear just like other DC shows and films like smallville so you can never really say never. nothing is ever really out of the question and besides people change their minds all the time and as I said before, a lot can happen in a year so again we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
I just think we should at least just get a glimpse of their doppelgangers. I mean they can also make a cameo or special guest appearance. any of them will do, I just want to see at least one of them each. as for the crisis I think they can all make cameos or special guest appearances or at the very least a glimpse like when Barry traveled the multiverse and saw Kara and 90's flash, it does not have to be something big and epic. Black lightning is possible and I know there are hiccups but I think it is possible. think about Supergirl and the crew, they moved to Vancouver to make crossovers easier. Black lightning might do the same and really I think they should. It would certainly help make the budget less expensive and save some money in the process.
Look I do not know what will happen with black lighting so I'm not gonna make predictions on anything but considering what is happening with the show and cast and crew right now will I really cannot say but I will not rule it out and besides Crisis is still a year away and a lot can happen in a year so we really will just have to wait and see. as for the crazier stuff I think it actually is a good thing and I mean we got the flash from the 1990 series so it's not like DC's other shows and films couldn't make some kind of connection, heck it could just be a cameo or special guest appearance.
as for Powergirl I do not see why they wouldn't. think about it, everyone else on the shows have seen and come into contact with doppelgangers, I mean name it- Barry, Laurel, Cisco, Caitlin, Snart, Alex, James, etc. maybe they will alter her or maybe they won't but either way I think it's time Kara had one of her own counterparts come into play and any of the other versions of her will do as well, it does not have to be Power girl. as long as she's another version of her then it's all good.

I want to see earth 1 will not just merge with earth 38 but all of the other known earths of the multiverse (earth 2, 3, 19, 90 and earth-x); also and I know this will cause controversy but whatever earth black lightning is on. I know technically his universe is not apart of the arrowverse and is not planned to be but so was supergirl at first but thanks to the multiverse she was so I really do not see why he can't and again it makes sense that all of the cw shows and characters live on one earth and in one universe instead of 4 or 5 alternate realities. COIE could easily fix that. Just retcon everything and everyone and that's it problem solved. as for powergirl, just give her a chance, I know she's kind of a jerk but I think she's interesting enough that she could bring something new to the table. I think she actually shows what a strong female character is and should be just like Kara, Alex, Batwoman, Iris, Sara and Dinah all are.

They do not have to. they can just retcon it. besides the writers could have come up with another ideal for a story; there are other ways they could have gone about writing it like Maybe Clark staying hidden and coming out to help people in a emergency like Kara did, that's one way it could have been done. also as for Power girl I think it's time she was introduced, Barry met his earth-2 doppelganger so why can't Kara.
True. I blame the writers for that one but I guess that's the decision they made and the path they decided to take. Superman could have discovered the arrow and then the flash. then he could have gone to star and central city and introduced himself like that and they could have had their own little team up and then Kara could have come into play herself. I know it's a little off but it could have worked. regardless I am excited that the Crisis will finally merge the two earths together. as for Kara's earth-1 doppelganger, I'm really not sure. she could be dead or perhaps it could be one of the other versions of supergirl like from the comics themselves. also I think we might actually meet her earth-2 doppelganger who would be a great addition moving forward.
Actually Harrison Wells and Jay Garrick both stated that there is a infinite number of universes within the multiverse itself. when Kara said that there were 52, Wells corrected her by saying there was actually a 53rd earth (earth-x) indicating that there are 52 "KNOWN" universes within the multiverse itself. if that is the case then there are many other universes that are unknown including the ones where people make different choices that have different outcomes and others that we have not seen yet or that have been mentioned. Earth-90 just confirmed that the multiverse is more bigger then we thought it was. although the 52 are known as the main and local universes of the multiverse, it has now been confirmed that there is a infinite group of others that surround them, that's all. also look at elseworlds which was the publication imprint of DC comics where stories like "Gotham by gaslight" take place in alternate realities so technically they also count as other universes in the multiverse and really every show, comic book, video game and film from DC for that matter to.
I agree and rightfully so. also I want to point something out: in crisis on Earth-X. Harrison mentioned to Kara that she has doppelgangers in the known 53 earths of the multiverse however for some reason we have never seen or met her earth-1 counterpart but in elseworlds we saw Alex and James who appear to have their own. I find this notion confusing, does Kara have one or not? also I think they should absolutely use the epic crossover to merge earth 1 and earth 38 together. it is long overdue and really it should not have to happen because she should have been placed on earth 1 to begin with. think about it, they added Constantine and his show to earth 1 and he originally aired on NBC, not the CW; Supergirl aired on CBS first, they could have and should have done the same thing with her. and as for the reason she was never mentioned or seen before could have a very simple explanation, the other shows and characters were to busy to watch the news and pay attention to her right away especially when they were you know fighting bad guys who were trying to either take over or destroy the world, problem solved. I think world's finest would have been perfect in Barry travelling in different dimensions and come back only to find himself in National city which should be on Earth 1 and Meet Kara and the others that way instead; that's how the writers should have played it out. also I have another interesting Question, after what Harrison said to Kara, it has me wondering that if that is the case then technically speaking everyone has doppelgangers in the known earths of the multiverse including earth-38 right? also I have a theory, what if earth 1 and 38 were actually one universe that was split into two universes by someone or something? again just a theory.

I agree. I think a relationship between the two of them would be interesting to see down the road. maybe Nora would join the team at some point. I don't want her to be a love interest who just pops up here and there.

It was a good episode but I do wish somethings were done differently. I don't think Rip is dead, he was most likely misplaced somewhere in time so we are bound to find him eventually. as for Mallus, I thought he was an okay villain, I just wished that he had better motives instead of the casual "I want to rule or destroy the universe" plot shtick. It was nice seeing everyone from Helen of troy to blackbeard comeback for one last hooray though. also Jonah Hex coming back did not hurt either but to be honest, Mallus and all of time being destroyed well it did not feel like the threat was all that urgent and needed to be dealt with asap. I'm sad to see Amaya leave and live out her life back in her time but since we know she is coming back for next season I'm kind of relieved but also at the same time angry; I really wish the writers would give the character closure and let her go on with her life instead of coming up with ways to bring her back into the fold, I mean I like her and nate together but I just don't think it will workout in the end if I'm being honest. It was also Nice to see Jax come back and is happy (seriously becoming a husband and father) it's nice to see him move on with his life after Martin's death; I think he would be happy for him. also it was nice seeing Damien Darhk make the ultimate sacrifice to save his child. Seriously the man went from being a crazy magically fuelled badman that hurt and killed a lot of people including Laurel and handing his kid over to a powerful demon to actually being a descent (and desperate to save his child) human being who was regreatful of his actions and wanted to give up his life in order for his kid to live and be a better person then he ever was; if that is not redemption then I do not know what is. As for Sara and Ava it will be interesting to see where their relationship goes in season 4. of course Sara promised Ava that she would help her figure out the whole clone/future thing so it will be interesting to see where that goes and what is revealed. the sexual tension between Zari and Jonah was also fun to watch, it will be fun to see what their future interactions will look like and where it might go. now as for the final battle, Mallus vs a giant Beebo doll; the writers really came up with a fun and silly way of the team taking out the big and bad time demon but I have to say if bodyslamming him into the earth was all it took to destroy him for good then clearly he wasn't much of a threat to begin with but hey pros and cons. as for the totems, It will be interesting to see who's hands they end up in. I still think Jax can use the fire totem. also Kuasa becoming Vixen; it will be interesting to see in how that storyline plays out down the road. at the end it was nice seeing gary and Constantine come back (seriously, they should become a couple because if you ask me,same-sex/LGBTQ couples are completely underrepresented in the shows) and inform the team that when they broke time, they opened a door and Mallus wasn't the only one who escape and came through it and if a severed drasgon's head wasn't a sign for that then I don't know what is. so it looks like next season will involve a lot more of magic, the supernatural and paranormal and since Constantine is coming on the waverider it will be interesting to see his interactions with the rest of the gang. also and this is just an I Ideal but I would love to see ghosts and Laurel and Damien appear an help guide Nora and Sara. also I want Nora to come back and develop some kind of weird love relationship with Ray. I have to say though that since defeating Mallus was not all that hard, why should we be excited or even worried about any new threat(s); seriously just use the totems and bodyslam them into the ground, problem solved lol. all in all I give it a 9/10.
