A cult dedicated to "Ông Trời Mới" (Vietnamese for "the New God") was created to worship a time-displaced Grodd in Vietnam during the height of the Vietnam War. The cult aspired to create one united nation under the rule of Grodd in an attempt to restore peace and order.
