In his pursuit of revenge for the Hood killing his father, Adrian Chase forged his throwing stars from the Green Arrow's discarded arrows kept in the Star City Police Department evidence lockup and targeted people whose names were anagrammed from individuals on the List.^[1]

As "Prometheus," Chase relieved Lieutenant Sam Conahan of his revolver by throwing one of his blades into the gun's cylinder.^[2] He later threw one of his blades into Tobias Church's neck, killing him.^[3] He later threw one of his blades into Gay Eked's neck in her own home, threw one into Peter Meld's neck while he was filling his taxi up with gas. Felicity Smoak stole one of the throwing stars from Billy Malone for analysis, and Susan Williams nicknamed Prometheus the "Throwing Star Killer," much to Oliver Queen's surprise, but Chase admitted it had "a certain flair." He also left one in Quentin Lance's apartment after cutting his arm.^[1] Prometheus eventually threw one of his blades to cut Curtis Holt's neck and another one to split one of Green Arrow's arrows in half.^[4] He later threw one at Vigilante, but the latter caught it.^[5]
