"So you're saying Ally was right."
"Yes, but more importantly, she's scary. My other dad in that world, he's terrified of her. Everyone is. And the thing is, over there, she's taken over."
"Taken over what exactly?"
"The country... maybe even the world.

Ally Allston is the former dictator of Earth and the founder and leader of the Inverse Society. Eventually, she used the pendants to merge with her Earth-TUD25 counterpart, becoming a parasite-like being, but she was later separated and defeated by Superman, and arrested by the DOD where she was held in the same cell with her counterpart.

Biography[]

Dictator of Earth[]

Inverse Society (Inverse World)

Ally meets Jonathan-El.

Like her Earth-TUD25 counterpart, Ally has gathered a cult, following of rich and famous people, even after being linked to riots in Star City. Her plan was for her and her counterpart to merge the two worlds with the pendants they each possessed, which dated back to when their worlds parted.

One of her followers was a teenage girl named Misty, who was dating Jonathan-El, the son of the superhero Kal-El. Misty introduced Jon to Ally and she manipulated him into joining her cult. Jon also arranged a meeting between her and his uncle and aunt Tal-Rho and Lana-Rho, who later also joined her cult.

Ally used Green Kryptonite to give some of her followers superpowers and stole Project 4377 X-Kryptonite weapons to fend off Kal-El. She took control of the United States government and told the world about the other Earth (Earth-TUD25) and her plans to merge the two realities.[1] At some point, Kal-El broke into her building, stole her pendant, and went to Earth-TUD25 to destroy it.[2]

Later, Ally talked with Mitch Anderson and questioned him about his killing of Kal-El and the two pendants. She then asked Mitch to tell her Earth-TUD25 counterpart to come to the Inverse World.[3]

Merging with her Earth-TUD25 counterpart[]

Merged Ally Allston

Ally, Anderson, Lana, and Jonathan-El waited in the Shuster Mines for Earth-TUD25 Ally to arrive via a portal, but only Earth-TUD25 Anderson arrived, and Ally sensed something was off. The Andersons started to merge, so she ordered Jon to kill him. Seeing his doppelganger dead, Anderson fled and Ally sent everyone to look for him. She later arrived at the El Farm along with her counterpart, Lana-Rho and Tal-Rho. Eventually, they got the pendants and managed to merge themselves, giving the pendant to Jon-El to do the same with his Earth-TUD25 counterpart.[1] Later, the merged Ally went through the portal to Earth-TUD25 just as Superman and Tal-Rho were trying to destroy the fused pendants. She took the stone and drained some of Superman and Tal's energy, but John Henry Irons managed to get her to drop the Stone and hold on to it long enough for the Kryptonians to destroy it. Ally took the pendants back to the Inverse World, and after talking to Lana-Rho, she absorbed the Tal-Rho's life force, killing him.[4]

Later, Ally returned to Earth-TUD25 to where her cult and Lucy Lane were, and after weakening Sam Lane and Superman absorbing their energy, and dodging John Irons' attacks, Ally went to the portal to talk to Lana-Rho and began to merge the worlds.[5] While merging the worlds in the space between worlds, Ally was attacked by John, but she managed to defeat him.[6]

Defeat[]

Superman tries to separate Ally Allston

Ally tries to absorb Superman's powers.

"With the authorization of the Department of Defense, today I can relay to you, not only is the merging of the planets real, it is happening, and Ally Allston, or whoever she is now that she and her Bizarro self are one, is responsible. If Ally succeeds in merging these two worlds, each of us will be forced against our will to merge with our other selves, turning us into... I don't know what. And I can also confirm that for the first time in 20 years we can't wait for Superman to save us."
Chrissy Beppo[src]

Tal-Rho tried to stop Ally from merging the worlds, and she began to absorb powers from him, but Jordan Kent appeared and stopped her. When John Henry Irons and Natalie Lane Irons tried to destroy the portals, Ally tried to kill them, but they were saved by Superman. They fought, and Ally tried to absorb his powers again, but this overwhelmed her and caused her to split, causing her to lose her powers and fall from the stratosphere, but she was also saved by Superman, who managed to prevent the worlds from merging.

John and Natalie kept them apart and they were arrested by the Department of Defense, where they were held in the same cell. They were later interrogated by Lois Lane, who asked if when they were merged they felt complete, and they replied that at first they felt joy and that they didn't want to be alone, with Lois saying that they wouldn't be anymore.[7]

She gained the power to generate and manipulate dimensional energy, being able to fly, absorb kinetic energy and alter reality itself, merging two different dimensions in the process. However, she lost her powers after her last battle with Superman, which resulted in her being separated again.
        • Dimensional Ergokinesis: Ally gained the ability to manipulate energy after merging with her inverse self, this energy appeared as a few different colors such as blue, yellow, or even a colorless energy.
          • Energy projection: When Ally merged with her Inverse World counterpart, she gained the ability to fire powerful blasts of energy from her hands. This energy was enough to even knock back Superman.
          • Life force absorption: Ally gained the ability to absorb life force, which she used on Tal-Rho and Superman, greatly weakening them. She used this ability to kill Tal-Rho for betraying her.[4]
          • Energy absorption: Ally gained the ability to absorb energy after merging, while absorbing Superman and Tal-Rho's life force, she was also able to drain their cells of their energy.
        • Flight: Ally gained the ability to fly after merging with herself.[4]
        • Telekinesis: Ally has the ability to move things with her mind, as she stopped John Irons' hammer and striking it back at him.[4]
        • Teleportation: Ally can also fly via teleportation, which she used to catch Superman by surprise.[4]
        • Interdimensional travel: Ally is able to travel from Earth-TUD25 to the Inverse World whenever she wants.[4]

      • Superhuman speed: Ally moves at superhuman speed.[4]
      • Superhuman strength: Ally has superhuman strength.[4]

Former weaknesses[]

  • Energy overload: Despite being able to absorb and generate huge amounts of energy, Ally would start to destabilize and un-merge from her Earth-TUD25 counterpart after absorbing energy from an overcharged Superman, in a similar way that was used to destroy the pendant that merged them.
