Dr. Ava Sharpe was a robot who was created by Gideon to stop the Legends from damaging the timeline. She takes care of the medical side of the Legends, by fixing/replacing damaged parts.[1]

Ava and the Legends.
Ava Sharpe was created by Gideon using the information she had over Ava Sharpe. Ava takes care of the medical side of the missions, by fixing their broken parts. She has hidden all the files of the Legends in the med-bay, so the other Legends don't find out they're actually the robots.[2][1]
Telling the truth[]
After the Legends went to kill the Legends, Astra and Zari got badly hurt. Ava took care of replacing their bodies with the new ones. Ava has a bit of a rivarly with captain Sara Lance. Once the team got back from their mission on Chernobyl, Ava took care of fixing Sara's arm. She was going to reset her, but after Sara answered the questions properly she decided not to. Thanks to this, Sara started thinking Ava was controlling Gideon, but it was the other way around.
Sara puts a knife over Ava's neck.
Once Sara was sent into the field, Ava was getting suspicious over the conducts they had. When Sara revealed the truth, she put a knife over Ava's neck, and Ava told the Legends they were actually the robots. When Zari sided with Gideon, Ava took care of resetting Sara to an "assassin", and revealed Nate would be the new captain of the team.[1]
Final battle and death[]
Ava and Astra fall into Hell.
Ava and Astra searched for Behrad to give him an upgrade, but believing it to be robot Behrad, Ava and Astra had a drink that made them want to go to the bathroom and entered the pocket dimension. They both met Gary, believing him to be robot Gary, and followed him to the bathroom, but realized they were in Hell, and Gary threw the robot duo to their deaths.[3]
