At some point in his life, Bernardo met and fell in love with an unnamed woman, they got married and had a daughter named Andrea.[1]

According to Andrea, Bernardo has a rivalry with Elon Musk over the colonization of outer space.[2]

Later, his wife abandoned him and left him for a British lord, so they divorced.

His family's company is losing money and they may lose the company. At some point, Andrea visited Bernardo and they talked about their family and financial crisis. The company returns to profit after Andrea joined Leviathan.[1]

Anti-Monitor Crisis

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Bernardo as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[3] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[4]

New multiverse

"Your father is a selfish narcissist."
Kelly Olsen to Andrea Rojas[src]

Bernardo remains alive in the new multiverse,[5] though he is of failing health. Andrea works hard to make sure that her father does not receive any information that could further hurt him.[6]

On the day of the Worldwide Unity Festival, Obsidian Platinum failed because Supergirl told people not to use it; this caused Obsidian North to be viewed negatively. Showing no shame or loyalty to his daughter after all she did for him, Bernardo released a statement blaming Andrea for the company's shortcomings, saving himself from bankruptcy while leaving his daughter to handle it all alone.

The next day, he learned that he was the major shareholder of the company and was bankrupt because of the company's fall in the stock market, unaware that earlier, his daughter had broke into his home and accessed his account to buy all the CatcCo shares.[7]
