- Oliver teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk and his magic once and for all.
That's a wrap! Have a great summer everyone!

I turned my back on this show when Laurel was killed. The ONLY reason I stuck around after that Batman-reference-heavy Season 3 was because I thought Laurel would come one step closer to becoming the true Black Canary just like Oliver would come one step closer to becoming the true Green Arrow. Also, I've always been more of a fan of Black Canary than Green Arrow, so I had hopes that she would step up more. Not to mention, though it was unlikely, I thought they would have followed a similar beat with Smallville by turning more away from Felicity and towards Laurel (like Clark turned more away from Lana and more towards Lois). But the straw that broke the Camel's back was Guggenheim's reasoning...
"We recognize that upsets a lot of fans, particularly the comic book fans. In the comics, Dinah Lance and Oliver Queen are in a romance together. To some people, that is considered canonical and iconic. We respect that, but at the same time we’ve always made no bones about the fact that we’re telling our own version of the Green Arrow mythos. Green Arrow and Black Canary have had so many different interpretations over the years that we never felt beholden to one particular interpretation. This is our interpretation, like it or not, and I recognize that there are plenty of people up and down my Twitter feed who do not like it. I totally respect that. But it made the most creative sense for us going forward, despite the fact that we love Katie. We absolutely love her. That part, not getting the chance to work with Katie day in and day out is tempered by the fact that [the show] now lives in a universe where there’s resurrection, parallel earths, time travel and flashbacks. We have all these different ways of keeping Katie in the Arrowverse family. In fact, you will see her in an episode of Flash, playing the Earth-2 version of Laurel Lance. Katie is also reprising her role as Laurel of Earth-1 in Vixen Season 2. Death does not mean goodbye on any of these shows."
There's more, obviously. But that was what made me quit watching in a fury. And they say the DCEU is disrespectful to the fans?! Jeez...
Tell you one thing, if the same happens to Iris, I'm starting a petition and I expect everyone who has grown to despise the direction the Arrowverse is going in like I have to sign it. Nuff said...

Clayface is on Gotham so that's a no go area.
They did it in The Batman before they went down the path of the Justice League. And besides, Gotham could exist in that universe. In Legends of Tomorrow, Rip references Batman and Superman as Dark Knights and Men of Steel.
I'm still hope next season and stephen amell says will be normal problems not meta human not magic, deathstroke would be great this season or ı'dont know comic book readers know Is there another cool enemies arrow universe ?
Arrow is one of these shows where you can't have superpowered people flying around. The Green Arrow is nearly powerless against these people and plus, it just doesn't fit into this kind of TV show. Magic just doesn't mix with shows like Arrow. I'm glad they'll fix this for season 5.

Superman has appeared in Arrowverse technically now Supergirl is part of the same continuity. References to Dark Knights and vaguer references to Green Lantern seem to me the writers thumbing their noses at DC and Warner Bros.
this episode was alright but it could have been better. it would have been better if Oliver had someone else with magical powers there to help him [john constantine, vixen or esrin fortuna). the ending was the best part where he used all the positive energy from the people of star city to give him light magic that appeared to be powerful to nullify Damien's dark magic that was powered by the deaths of thousands of people. when damien was talking to Oliver about all of the grief in his life, Oliver should have told him about all the grief he now had in his life (his wife was murdered and his underground city was completely destroyed thanks to anarky and now he was a single father with a daughter who would grow up with no mom which damien did point out but if it also came from oliver, it would have been so much better) but still that right there would have angered darhk and upset him which would have thrown him off for a moment. either way Oliver had a good point when he said didn't have a choice in killing him because much like Ra's, damien was a crazy guy who not only killed laurel but was going to kill everyone on the planet. it was also justice here again because damien died just like how he killed laurel and now his daughter is a orphan. I kind of wish felicity played a bigger part in this episode, I wish darhk kidnapped and forced her to help him in the world, it would have been cool if there was some interaction between the two of them. it's ok but again could have been better. season 5 better be an improvement, I want more and new characters and bigger villains at play. p.s. a little magic for season 5 but not a lot.
