Brandon James Routh (born October 9, 1979) is an American actor. He portrayed Ray Palmer/The Atom in Arrow, The Flash, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and voiced him in Vixen. He also portrayed Clark Kent/Superman of Earth-96 in the crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths, reprising his role from the 2006 film Superman Returns.
Routh also portrayed Charlie and John Constantine as Ray Palmer, and Neron possessing the character.

- In 2006, Routh previously played Clark Kent/Superman in the film, Superman Returns.
- Routh made a nod to his previous Superman role during "Invasion!" when he said Kara Danvers resembled his cousin.
- In the episode "All Star Team Up", upon Ray Palmer's arrival, Caitlin and Cisco had an exchange when they saw something flying in the air. First asking if it's a bird, then a plane, and Felicity replied that it's her boyfriend. This is a reference to the iconic Superman phrase.
- Routh would later reprise his role as Superman in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
- Routh is married to Courtney Ford.
- Routh originally was going to portray Ted Kord/Blue Beetle, but his character was soon changed to Ray Palmer when copyright issues prevented the writers from using Blue Beetle
