Bruce Wayne is a billionaire philanthropist, and formerly the vigilante known as the Batman.

Biography

Bruce was raised from when he was little by his family's butler, Alfred Pennyworth.[1]

As an adult, while fighting crime in New Gotham City as a vigilante known as the Batman, Bruce formed a romantic relationship with queen of the criminal underworld Selina Kyle. With her, they had a child, Helena, but Bruce remained estranged. Over the years, Bruce trained many protégé, including Barbara Gordon as Batgirl.[2]

Fighting constantly with his archenemy the Joker, one night Bruce finally won, but despite being given the chance to kill him, resisted. Because of this, the Joker came for Selina and Barbara, killing the former and injuring the latter. Some months following this, Bruce left New Gotham,[2] keeping in contact with his butler Alfred.[3]
