"Not for the mild, well-behaved child."
—Burnside Orphanage's disciplinary motto[src]

Burnside Orphanage was an orphanage located in Gotham City.

History

Burnside Orphanage was established in 1914 in Gotham City. It was shut down by the 21st century, with the building left abandoned.

In their youth, Kate and Beth Kane would sneak inside the Burnside Orphanage building to play ouija and freak each other out.

In 2018, Alice and her gang briefly used the building as a base of operations. Kate tracked Alice down and raided Burnside Orphanage with the Crows, but Alice captured her and escaped.[1]
