Burnside Park is an abandoned public park located in Gotham City.
History[]
Burnside Park was once a very popular and lively public park. Kate and Beth Kane considered it their favorite place and had a tradition to come to the park every Friday, where they would eat chocolate-covered Belgian waffles from the "Grand Place" waffle stand.
In 2003, Kate and her father, Jacob Kane, had a waffles break in Burnside Park with a decidedly somber mood while searching for a missing Beth.
Over the years, the park was abandoned and reduced to ruin.
In 2018, after Kate came to suspect that Alice was actually her long-lost sister Beth, she gave one of Alice's goons an encoded message to meet her in Burnside Park. Alice arrived and was arrested by the Crows, thanks to Sophie Moore.[1]
