CC Jitters, simply known as Jitters, was a coffee shop located in Central City. The company also produced custom-made vending machines to sell its products.[1] In an erased future, it would've been known as HR Jitters.[2] In the future where Nora West-Allen is from, CC Jitters has expanded into a chain of coffee shops located in Central City.[3]

History

2013–2014

At some point during graduate school, Iris West began working as a waitress at CC Jitters.

On December 11, 2013, CC Jitters began selling cronuts. Iris consumed two of these pastries while stress-eating over her dissertation.[4]

2014–2015

After his recovery from a coma, Barry Allen went to see Iris as she was working at CC Jitters. Amidst the happy reunion, Barry's latent powers began manifesting, in which he saw Tracy spilling a tray of food and drinks in slow motion. Barry later visited Iris at CC Jitters again, whereupon he learned she was secretly dating Eddie Thawne.[4]

The coffee shop occasionally held "Trivia Night", where the winning team were rewarded a $75 CC Jitters Coffee Card. After being introduced to Felicity Smoak, Iris invited Barry and Felicity to team up with Eddie and her and the four of them debuted as team E=MC HAMMER.[5]

During the morning rush at CC Jitters, there was a long line due to a new barista training. Barry secretly used his powers to prepare everyone's drinks and leave a tip.

Later when Eddie was hospitalized, Iris went to the hospital hallway to buy coffee via a vending machine labeled "Gourmet Coffee Proudly Serving CC Jitters Coffee"; it provided at least four selections, including decaffeinated coffee, cappuccino, latte, and espresso.[1]

As Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak prepared to leave CC Jitters, Oliver encountered a former lover, Samantha Clayton. The two exchanged pleasantries and parted ways, after which Samantha ordered a hot chocolate for her child.[6]

For Christmas, CC Jitters put up festive decorations and had a Santa Claus stationed at the entrance.

During the holiday, Eddie and Iris had coffee at CC Jitters as they discussed moving in together. The next day as Iris was working, she encountered Caitlin Snow. They discussed Iris' story on "the Burning Man" and Barry's newfound behavior.[7]

Caitlin met Jason Rusch at CC Jitters to talk about the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project that he had worked on.[8]

Barry and Linda Park bought coffee from CC Jitters after their date. The next day, Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin went to Jitters and the trio subtly discussed potential ramifications of Barry "moving fast" with Linda. Channel 52 then broadcasted "the Burning Man"'s attack on Concordance Research.[9]

CC Jitters was eventually attacked by General Wade Eiling to kidnap Ronnie Raymond and thereby gain access to Firestorm.[10]

In order to get Dr. Harrison Wells out of S.T.A.R. Labs so Cisco Ramon could run some tests, Caitlin took Dr. Wells CC Jitters, but he eventually got out of his seat when her back was turned to return to S.T.A.R. Labs and kill Cisco.[11]

2015–2016

After a singularity appeared above Central City, CC Jitters was somewhat destroyed. Six months later, Barry was attempting to rebuild Jitters, as he did with other buildings throughout the city. One night, Iris met him at Jitters, convincing Barry into attending "Flash Day".[12]

A couple weeks later, CC Jitters had their grand re-opening. In honor of The Flash saving the city and rebuilding the joint, they began serving a new beverage named after him.

Barry ordered four "The Flash" drinks for himself, Iris, Cisco, and Caitlin, bumping into Patty Spivot on his way back to the table. The four were later approached by Lisa Snart, asking for help.[13]

During close-hours at CC Jitters, Kendra Saunders prepared short rib, Yukon gold purée, and asparagus, set it up in the coffee shop as a dinner date with Cisco, Unfortunately, Vandal Savage interrupted before they could enjoy the food, leading Cisco to signal the Flash for help.[14]

Barry and Oliver went to CC Jitters while Team Arrow was helping Team Flash with Savage. Oliver noticed "The Flash", and inquired how long it had been a thing, to which Barry answered for eight months. A young boy then bumped into them and dropped his Flash figurine. The child then met up with none other than Samantha, much to Oliver's shock.[14]

2016–2017

Martin Stein went to Jitters, along with Jefferson Jackson, to meet with his daughter Lily. He asked to meet because he felt she could help him with the Askaran Amulet. Lily brought out her ionic scanner and unexpectedly activated the amulet's compass. Stein and Jax quickly hid the amulet away before any of the people in the cafe could see before taking Lily away so they could further study it.[15]

2017–2018

Cisco had coffee at CC Jitters with his girlfriend, Cynthia, and her father, Josh. However, Josh refused to drink coffee since the Plastoids attacked his Earth so Gypsy went to get him some tea. Josh then began hunting Cisco.[16]

Barry and Iris' rehearsal dinner was held at CC Jitters.[17]

Killer Frost got a drink resembling a latte at CC Jitters as a "winter special offer".[18]

2018–2019

Iris and her future daughter, Nora West-Allen, had coffee at CC Jitters. Iris attempted to get to know and bond with Nora, which was less than successful.[19]

Iris approached Spencer Young at CC Jitters to discuss her blog. That night, Spencer went to Jitters again, recommending to a barista that they name a drink after the city's new female speedster, XS. Nora met with Spencer to determine if the latter was a meta-human. However, Spencer ended up flirting with Nora until Iris intervened.[20]

Caitlin ate a large cinnamon roll at CC Jitters as she contemplated investigating her father's alleged death. Cisco arrived and talked to her about accepting his breakup with Cynthia, convincing Caitlin to face the truth.[21]

Raelene Sharp bought a vanilla latte and medium Zoom at CC Jitters. Orlin Dwyer/Cicada spied on Raelene in the shop before following her out.[22]

Possible future

In the future where Nora West-Allen is from, a cup of coffee at CC Jitters costs $43.[19]

CC Jitters has expanded into a chain of coffee shops littered around Central City, with branches in places such as Windsor Heights, Petersburg, and Mounds View.[3]

Erased future

When Barry traveled to the future to learn the identity of Savitar, H.R. Wells not only owns the coffee shop, but also renamed it to HR Jitters.[2]
