An unnamed woman (died 1995)[1] was the mother of Cecile Horton and an unnamed woman.
Biography[]
Death[]
In or around 1995,[1] the woman became sick and was diagnosed with cancer. She believed she would get better and told her daughter, Cecile, who was an intern at the District attorney's office at the time, to keep working. However, the woman passed away one day when her daughter was at work.[2]
Legacy[]
Cecile was deeply affected by her mother's death, feeling extreme guilt that her mother had died alone. As a result, Cecile fell into depression and ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Though she eventually left the hospital and told herself to act like none of this had happened, Cecile was haunted by these events every day for the following decades.[2]
