In 2021, Sue Dearbon bought the entire building that; Team Citizen already had an office in, thus; giving Iris the freedom to hire more staff and create Central City Citizen Media; with the podcast Citizentopia.

Iris later promoted Allegra Garcia to supervising editor, while having Kristen Kramer on Citizentopia. Despite her position, Allegra was ignored; by the new staff; who all chose stories on their own.
