Central City University (CCU) is a university located in Central City.

History

After moving to Central City, Dinah Lance became a Greek and medieval history professor at CCU.^[1]

Simon Stagg graduated from CCU and was recognized by the university.^[2]

John Le gained a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and History from Central City University.^[3]

As of 2017, Tracy Brand enrolled in Central City University's theoretical physics program, researching extra-dimensional energy. After failing her dissertation, Tracy decided to quit and burn all of her work. She was caught by Cisco Ramon, Barry Allen, and H.R. Wells, before they were interrupted by Killer Frost, who attempted to kill Tracy.^[4]

Jackson Klimavich graduated from Central City University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics.^[5]

Mina Chaytan taught cultural anthropology at the university until she was fired. Clifford DeVoe taught history at the university and his wife Marlize DeVoe teaches physics.^[6]^[7]

Sharon Finkel gained a Master of Psychology from CCU.^[6]

Barry Allen studied criminology at Central City University.^[8]

Possible future

By 2049, there existed a theoretical physics building at CCU called the "Tracy Brand Building", named after the physicist and former student.^[9]

Original timeline: Barry's daughter, Nora West-Allen, followed in her father's footsteps and also earned a criminology degree from Central City University.^[8]

Current timeline: By destroying Cicada's dagger, a ripple effect in the timeline occurred and erased Nora from existence. Due to this, there is now no known record of her in the university.^[10]
