Charles Knight (2020) was the custodian of Gotham Cathedral Church and the adoptive father of Natalia Knight.
Biography
Early life
Charles Knight was born in Gotham and served as the custodian of Gotham Cathedral Church even after it was abandoned. Shortly after she was born, in 1992 or 1993, he adopted Natalia Knight an unfortunate orphan born with a unique type of porphyria, which made her unable to exposed to sunlight and created difficulties to her kidneys in cleaning her blood.[1]
Loving the child deeply, Charles secretly provided her supplies of fresh blood for years.[1]
Death
In early 2020, Charles suffered an heart attack and died leaving Natalia alone.[1]

- In the DC comics, Charles Knight was a well-known gangster who rescued orphan Natalia Knight from the street at the age of 12 and rised her without letting her know about his illegal activities. After he died during a crime the police told her the truth and her adoptive brother Anton proposed her to become his partner in crime, which she refused until an accident drained her skin of all pigment and also rendered her sensitive to light.
