Christopher Charles "Chris" Wood (born April 14, 1988) is an American actor. He portrays Mon-El/Mike Matthews in a starring role in the second and third seasons of Supergirl. He reprised the role of Mon-El and Tommy Moran as a special guest star in the third season of The Flash.

It has been announced on June 18, 2018 that Chris Wood would not be reprising his role as Mon-El for the fourth season of Supergirl as a series regular.[1]

  • Wood attended Elon University alongside The Flash actor Grant Gustin, where they were both musical theater majors.[2]
  • He became engaged to Supergirl co-star Melissa Benoist in February 2019 and married in September the same year.
  • He can be considered a main staple on a lot of The CW shows, as he was on The Carrie Diaries, The Vampire Diaries and Containment, before joining Supergirl.
