Dodgson is a former agent of Crows Security. He was the occasional lover of Beth Kane and the second-in-command of the Wonderland gang until he was arrested and sent to Blackgate Penitentiary.

Original multiverse
Early life
At some point in his life, Dodgson joined the military, most likely the Navy SEALs or Green Berets. Afterwards, he was hired as an agent of Crows Security.[1]
At first, Dodgson was extremely idealistic and passionate about his role in protecting Gotham City. Over time however, he began to resent Commander Jacob Kane, considering the man too soft for the job.[2] This lead Dodgson to join the Wonderland gang, becoming the second-in-command and the lover of its leader, Alice.[1] He was eventually entrusted with Alice's true identity of Jacob's presumed dead daughter, Beth.[3]
