In 49 BC, Caesar set up a camp in Cisalpine Gaul to prepare for his march on the Rubicon. After Mick Rory found an anachronistic Julius Caesar in Aruba, 2017, the Legends returned him to Cisalpine Gaul, 49 BC. Unbeknownst to Nate Heywood, Caesar stole his Rise of Rome book, which contained future knowledge on Rome's history. The Time Bureau and the Legends managed to retrieve the book and erased Caesar's and his legion's memory of the incident.

Behind the scenes
- In the real world, Cisalpine Gaul was the part of Italy inhabited by Celts (Gauls) during the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. It was considered part of Gaul, precisely that part of Gaul on the "hither side of the Alps" (from the perspective of the Romans), as opposed to Transalpine Gaul ("on the far side of the Alps").
