Clones are genetic copies of individuals from various species. Altered in development, they can be created to possess enhanced physical attributes.
History[]
Earth-1[]
In the year 2213, Advanced Variant Automation created several clones under the name Ava, meant to be the perfect woman. Rip Hunter would travel to that year to recruit clones as agents for the Time Bureau and implant fake memories of a normal life in the current time in them.[1] He would replace these clones when one died, leading up to Ava Sharpe the 12th and last clone he recruited.[2]
Earth-90[]
A clone of Barry Allen named Pollux was created as a test subject for a super soldier.[3]
Earth-Prime[]
AVA Corporation[]
Bishop founded the AVA Corporation which was responsible for the creation of the AVA Clones, including Ava Sharpe and Nurse Ava among many others.[4] He would also use his technology to constantly create clones of himself, transferring his mind into a new clone body every time he died.[5] Bishop also transferred Sara Lance's memories into a clone body after her original body was poisoned by Amelia Earhart.[6] He combined the clone's DNA with that of an alien causing Sara to attempt to clone herself a new body after finding this out. However, the unfinished clone was destroyed as Sara and her allies were forced to blow up Bishop's facilities to stop him from uploading his consciousness to the cloud before the cloning process had finished.[5]
Nazi invasion[]
According to Cisco Ramon's timeline of Earth-Prime, time traveling Nazis clones attacked Earth-Prime in 2017.[7] Given the fact that she existed on Earth-Prime,[8] it can be assumed that Overgirl was a clone of Kara Danvers/Supergirl.
