The Cobalt Blue armor is a suit of armor created by the Negative Speed Force for Eddie Thawne as a gift to its new avatar.

After Eddie Thawne accepted the offer of the Negative Speed Force, becoming the new avatar, he was granted a set of speedster armor by the Cobalt-97 to use in the war against the Flash.[1]
Overview[]
The Cobalt Blue armor is a set of predominantly white and gray armor with the glowing Cobalt-97 placed in the center of the chest piece. It is made of a glossy material similar to that of The Monitor's armor, giving it a more sturdy and solid feel in comparison to the the suits worn by other speedsters of the multiverse.

- Durability: The Cobalt Blue armor allows Eddie to absorb much of the damage done to him over the course of battle, protecting him from physical blows as well as lightning attacks.
- Enhanced Negative Speed Force connection: Due to the Cobalt-97 placed in the suit, it provides the benefits of the crystal's connection to the Negative Speed Force to the wearer, providing resistance to extreme physical forces and protections from the dangers of running at high speeds like The Flash suits.
