The cold gun is a freezing weapon stolen from S.T.A.R. Labs and used by both Leonard Snart and Jefferson Jackson as Captain Cold.
History[]
At some point, the cold gun fell into Leonard Snart's hands. Sometime later, it was brought back to S.T.A.R. Labs and put into the Starchives.[1]

In order to help Ray and the Ex-Legends save Mick Rory and Kayla's children, Jefferson Jackson was given the Cold gun by Mick and he became the new Captain Cold.[2]

- Absolute zero cold blast: The gun shoots a blueish "white flame" that lowers temperature. In actual fact, the gun contains a micro-engine that generates a blast/beam of absolute zero/subzero cold. The engine projects the cold as a blast that can freeze anything on impact. The goggles that came along with it are a way to protect the user from the glare of said blast.
