Changes: Crisis on Infinite Earths

Crisis on Infinite Earths is the name of the upcoming sixth annual shared multiverse crossover event between Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.^[5] The crossover will begin over three nights in December 2019 from December 8 to December 10 and conclude on January 14, 2020.^[6]

Trivia

This crossover marks the first time where the title of the crossover was revealed at the end of the previous crossover (Elseworlds).
The title of this crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths, is also the title of a limited series published by DC Comics from 1985 to 1986.
This is the first crossover:
- To consist of five episodes.
- To air during two months instead of one.^[2]
- To have major tie-ins with the seasons of Supergirl (Season 5), The Flash (Season 6), and Arrow (Season 8) that air concurrently with this crossover.
With Brandon Routh portraying a version of Superman, he will be reprising the role, previously having portrayed the character in the 2006 film Superman Returns. The iteration of Superman that Routh will be portraying will be based on the Kingdom Come storyline.^[35]
Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Black Lightning, which is currently not a part of the shared multiverse, will all deal with the fallout from this crossover.^[36]^[37]^[38]^[39]
