David Poe (died 2018) was a renowned editor of the Freeland Gazette.
History
Around 1978, David was made editor of the Freeland Gazette. Sometime after 1987, he investigated into the case of nine missing children with enhanced abilities, along with Alvin Pierce. However, before the articles could be published, David cancelled them.[1]
In 2018, David was greeted by Alvin's granddaughter, Anissa Pierce. She asked him for information about Alvin's research. He initially declined and had her kicked out, but eventually he gave in, giving her a box of his files.[1]
David was killed in a hit and run while taking a morning ride on his bike.[2]
