"Death of the Speed Force" is the fourteenth episode of the sixth season of The Flash, and the one-hundred-twenty-eighth episode overall. It aired on March 10, 2020.

Synopsis

Kid Flash returns to Central City with a Zen attitude and new tricks up his sleeve. While thrilled to see his family again, Wally confides to Barry that he returned because he thinks there is something wrong with the Speed Force. Meanwhile, Cisco returns from his fact-finding mission across Earth-Prime.[src]

• Cisco mentions that by the events of the episode, all doppelgängers from the old multiverse who ended up on Earth-Prime are supposed to be dead because of cellular degeneration. This was previously shown in the Batwoman episode "Take Your Choice" with Beth Kane of Earth-Prime and Beth Kane of Earth-TUD14.
• The episode shares its title with an arc from the DC Rebirth Flash comics.
• This episode was originally scheduled for March 3, 2020, but was later confirmed to air on March 10th, 2020. This could be due to the Super Tuesday elections. Instead, a rerun of "Love Is A Battlefield" aired on March 3.
• In the episode, clips of previous episodes are shown. Oliver Queen/Spectre, Supergirl, J'onn J'onzz, Kate Kane/Batwoman, Lex Luthor and John Diggle appear via archival footage as a result of these episodes:
