Denise Olowe is a student at Smallville High School, the daughter of Rahim Olowe and a friend of Sarah Cushing.
Biography[]
Denise is a cheerleader at school along with Sarah Cushing. Since Sarah was distracted during practice, Denise fell from the pyramid formation they were performing. Coach Lana was upset that Denise could have been hurt and shouted at Sarah, before Sarah quit.[1] At Corey Wellnitz's party, Denise told Sarah that she was missed on the squad.[2] Denise's parents allowed Sarah to spend the night with Denise when Sarah got upset with her mother.[3] After was revealed that Morgan Edge implanted Kryptonian consciousness into the citizens of Smallville, Denise blamed the Cushing family and began ignoring Sarah at school.[4]
Later, Denise went to Timmy Ryan's party with alcohol. There, they turned on the TV and saw that Morgan Edge was attacking Metropolis and later General Sam Lane arrived to pick up Jon, Jordan and Sarah.[5] During Edge's last attacks on Smallville, Denise and the citizens tried to evacuate the town but eventually that ended when Superman and the Stranger defeated Edge. She ended up forgiving the Cushing family when they helped the citizens during the attack.[6]
The next year, Denise started working at her father's store, where she attended to Sarah and Jordan. Two boys tried to steal booze but tripped and walked away. Denise told Sarah and Jordan not to worry because she had security cameras in the store, which were later erased by someone.[7] At the Crows game, Denise told Sarah and Jordan that the players (like Timmy Ryan) were using X-Kryptonite to get stronger.[8]
