The Department of Defense is an executive branch department of the federal United States government charged with coordinating and supervising all agencies and functions of the government directly related to national security and the United States Armed Forces.

Like on Earth-TUD25, Sam Lane created Project 4377 to create anti-Kryptonian weapons.
Inside the D.O.D of the Inverse World.
At some point after joining Ally Allston, Jonathan-El and Lana-Rho attacked the DOD and demanded to see Project 4377. Sam denied his request and Jon punched him, but Lieutenant Rosetti was on his side and helped him. After that, Ally seized control of the DOD and told the world about the other Earth and her plans to fuse the two worlds together.[1] Later, Kal-El broke into the DOD and fought a squad of superpowered soldiers led by Lana to steal Ally's pendant.[2]
