Patty McCabe and Chuck McCabe would bring Mari to the museum very often when she was a kid.[1]
After Adam Macalester uncovered the lost Fire Totem, the artifact was kept on display in the Detroit Museum's "Hall of Gemstones".[2] That night, it was stolen by Jones for a black market deal.[1]
