The Dreaming,[1] also referred to as the Dream Realm, is a dimensional source of power for the Naltorians. Throughout history, generations of women used their connection to the Dreaming as heroines known as "the Dreamer" on Naltor, with the powers and legacy passed on from mother to daughter.
History[]
Once in a generation, the connection to the Dreaming manifests in a female Naltorian. This connection gives them access to a number of powers based on dream energy such as precognition and astral projection. This power is passed down from mother-to-daughter.[1]
The Oracle of Delphi hid the Dream Totem in the Dreaming when the Dorians invaded her temple in 1100 BC. The Minoans who housed the Dream Totem replaced its gauntlet with a maze that had to be navigated to reach the Totem.[2]
When Isabel Nal died, Nia dreamed and found her in Dreaming, where Isabel encouraged her daughter to embrace her destiny as a Dreamer.[3]
Upon leaving the Phantom Zone, Nyxlygsptlnz entered Nia's dream realm. There, the imp and Nia had a confrontation until Nyxly proposed a deal to revive Isabel for a day, something that Nia accepted and Nyxly was freed from the realm of dreams.[4]
With help from the Lexosuit's gauntlet and the A.I. associated with it, Nyxly managed to return to the Dreaming to obtain the Dream Totem, despite Nia's attempts to stop her. After a tough fight, Nyxly got the totem and escaped.[2]
