Duela Dent (born 1995 or 1996)[1] is a criminal who, after feeling bad about her own physical appearance, cut her face and then started to cut the faces of social media influencers treated on by Dr. "Ethan Campbell". She was referred to by Vesper Fairchild as the "Serial Slashionista" and by Batwoman as Gotham's Serial Slasher.
Biography
Early life
Duela Dent was born in either 1995 or 1996 to Evelyn Dent and an unnamed man.[1]
By 2011, Duela had a pretty large psychiatric rap sheet. That year, she cut her own face after not feeling good about her own appearance because of how her friends all got plastic surgery. She claims she wanted to look the way she looked after cutting her face.[1]
Her mother walked in on her cutting herself and brought her to Dr. "Ethan Campbell" to treat her face with plastic surgery. Sometime after being treated by him without consent, she was admitted to a mental health facility.[1]
Attacking influencers
After she was released from the facility, Duela started to cut the faces of social media influencers who also got plastic surgery from Dr. Campbell, starting with Mia Cortez. Later, Duela attacked Kimberly Wright at one of her photoshoots, by brutally slashing her face.[1]
One day, she attacked her mother, who was found by Batwoman. Duela approached Batwoman, who evaded her baseball bat and threw her to the ground. Duela then slashed her mother's throat and ran away.[1]
Duela's next victim was Veronica May, who she firstly kidnapped from her van after killing her driver. She took Veronica to her plant where they made her skincare line. She hung her above a vat of acid. In the plant, she was taken out by Sophie Moore. Duela was confronted by Alice, who told her she needed something from her and had her face cut off by Alice, finally feeling perfect. She was then picked up by the GCPD.[1]
Abilities
- High Pain Tolerance: Duela was able to cut her face with a mirror shard without expressing any pain whatsoever and managed to conscious even after Alice removed her face. [1]
- Stealth: Duela was able to sneak up on her victims without them being aware.[1]

- In DC Comics, Duela Dent is the biological daughter of Three-Face and Jokester, originally using the alias Joker's Daughter. Throughout her career as a vigilante she has used the names Card Queen, Catgirl, Harlequin, Penguin' Daughter, Riddler's Daughter and Scarecrone. She has been a member of the Teen Titans and Titans East.
