- "Alright, this is Earth-17."
- —Cisco about to play a holographic message from the Harrison Wells of Earth-17.[src]
Earth-17 was one of the many universes in the original multiverse. Its residents seem to speak in archaic terms and refer to Earth-1 as "Terra Prime".
History[]
After Harrison Wells of Earth-2 sent out a cryptogram, the Harrison Wells of Earth-17 cracked the cryptogram and sent a message back.[1]
Earth-17 was depicted on a map shown to Barry Allen of Earth-1 by Jay Garrick of Earth-3 in October 2019.[2]
This universe was destroyed along with every other universe during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.[3]

Behind the scenes[]
- In the DC comics, Earth-17 is a universe in which, somewhere in this Earth's past, there was a disaster referred to by the inhabitants as the "Great Disaster". Some say it involved atomic weapons, others say the mysterious chemical called Cortexin was involved somehow. Little is known about this Earth, except that it is described as "glowing with radioactivity and hope". It is home to intelligent animals and human slaves who have mostly lost the power of speech. However, the planet survives, and people there are hard at work to put the planet on an equal footing with its parallel counterparts.
