"The multiverse has a way of aligning fates...It's written in the stars and in this book, or I wouldn't know that on this Earth, Clark Kent is Superman. Where I come from, that would be ridiculous. He can't see past his glasses." This article is about the character set in the Swamp Thing universe. This article only contains information relevant to the Arrowverse. For information regarding that universe, please see Swamp Thing. |
Earth-19 is one of the many universes in the new multiverse created during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.
History[]
The universe was created during the Anti-Monitor Crisis, being home to a creature of the swamp.[1] This Earth was made in place of the old version of Earth-19 which due to the crisis and it's effects doesn't exist now nor could it physically anymore either.

Behind the scenes[]
- Earth-19 is the world of the DC Universe Swamp Thing series. Its designation number likely comes from the year of the series' release, 2019.
- This Earth contains a doppelgänger of Swamp Thing, there is another version of him that resides on Earth-Prime after being moved from Earth-1.
- There is also a real-life version of the Blue Devil (Daniel Cassidy) that lives on this earth as well. A fictional version of him did exist on Earth-1 in two films.
- The fact that the events of the Swamp Thing TV Series which were established without any of the changes local and associated with the pre-Crisis Earth-19 (i.e. people, history, events, constants, etc) seems to indicate and strongly support the evidence that the old version of it was erased from existence and replaced for good by this universe, as a result of the Crisis itself and it's effects. Examples include the collectors (who were wiped out by antimatter like many others) and their organization (which was disbanded or wiped out by the antimatter wave all together as well in any case meaning that given the current state of things, it no longer exists or is); since neither of these things including certain individuals (like Gypsy and Breacher for example) have never been referenced or mentioned confirms all of this. A major factor is the crisis itself which altered the laws of physics (meaning interdimensional travel is almost impossible to achieve now, vibrational frequencies having been changed and vibers who longer have access to their powers and abilities anymore or may have lost them all together given the current state of things) which means that the former version of the planet could not be invaded and attacked by a neighboring earth, hence it's history was completely rewritten and thus it cannot exist anymore. Also, the fact that the series already aired with the changes shown helps to verify all of this.
- There are also doppelgangers of other characters including Madame Xanadu and the Phantom Stranger on this earth as well.
- Like The New Earth-2, This universe has been completely replaced the original version which cannot exist anymore due to the crisis and it's various effects.
