Earth-51 was one of the many universes in the multiverse.

History

At some point, Sherloque Wells was trained in the art of escape by Thaddeus Brown.

Earth-51 was depicted on a map shown to Barry Allen of Earth-1 by Jay Garrick of Earth-3.

This Earth (Earth-51) was presumably destroyed during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.

Behind the scenes

• In the post-Flashpoint continuity of the DC Comics, Earth-51 is home several of the creations of writer and artist Jack Kirby that he authored while working at DC, namely OMAC and Kamandi, as well as versions of the characters from Kirby's Fourth World saga. Thaddeus Brown being an inhabitant of Earth-51 is likely a reference to this, as Brown was a Kirby creation and debuted in Kirby's Mister Miracle series.
  • Prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, an extremely similar world known as Earth-AD was home to Kamandi and OMAC.
