Behind the scenes[]
- In the comics, Earth-85 is an alternate universe, first described in Crisis on Infinite Earths: The Compendium. It is the home of Captain Marvel and Hawkman.
- The number 85 is also a reference to the original Crisis on Infinite Earths which was first published in 1985.
- The comic panel which this Earth (Earth-85) first appears, also resembles the original Crisis where the heroes fight the Anti-Monitor at the dawn of time.
