"The multiverse has a way of aligning fates...It's written in the stars and in this book, or I wouldn't know that on this Earth, Clark Kent is Superman. Where I come from, that would be ridiculous. He can't see past his glasses." This article is about the location set in the Superman Returns universe. This article only contains information relevant to the Arrowverse. For information regarding that universe, please see Universe. |
Earth-96 is one of the many universes in the multiverse.

Behind the scenes
- This Earth has aspects inspired by the Kingdom Come series, such as the death of Lois Lane and the black Superman emblem
- The number 96 references the year the Kingdom Come series was first released. It also happens to be the year Superman: The Animated Series premiered.
- This Earth also takes inspiration from both the Brandon Routh and Christopher Reeves Superman Films. This includes:
- use of the main theme by John Williams.
- referencing Superman III, where Superman turned insane and then split into a separate Clark Kent and Superman, before fighting himself.
- Clark comparing Jonathan Kent to his son, Jason, based on his and Lois's son of the same name from Superman Returns.
