Earth-96 is one of the many universes in the new multiverse created during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.

History

The universe was created during the Anti-Monitor Crisis, being home to Superman.

Trivia

• Superman's crest on his suit is now yellow instead of black, which implies that the Joker did not bomb and kill Clark's friends at the Daily Planet on the original Earth-96.This seems to indicate that this Earth was slightly altered over the previous universe that it has now replaced.
• Much like some of the new earths in the new multiverse, this earth is now the setting of a film series (consisting of six movies) that is based on a DC Comics property and is home to a new populace of characters (heroes and villains including some who are Aliens). This means that this Earth is now one of the most imporant in the multiverse along with Earth-Prime (which is now the main setting of the whole Arrowverse Franchise post-crisis) along with a list others including Earths-9, 12, 2, 21, TUD13 (whose designation has changed) and TUD25.
• This universe is now (and as before/or has always been as was the previous version in the original multiverse) the setting to the Superman Live-action film series, up to Superman Returns, which previously featured Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer).
