Earth-N52 was one of the many universes in the original multiverse. The universe was destroyed during the Anti-Monitor Crisis.

History[]

Earth-N52 was destroyed by antimatter during the Anti-Monitor Crisis; Pariah watched as Heroes Square of Metropolis was consumed by the wave.[1] It is presumed that a identical universe was made in it's place following the rebirth of the new multiverse.

Behind the scenes[]

  • The name "N52" references the relaunch by DC Comics of its entire line of ongoing monthly superhero comic books, which was The New 52.
  • While based on Earth 0, this world is more similar to Earth 52, a reality where The New 52 timeline was preserved and continued.
  • In the original script of "Crisis on Infinite Earths, Part 1", writers Marv Wolfman and Marc Guggenheim, referred to Earth-N52 as "Earth-DCEU", also known as the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). It is unlikely that this universe is still canonically considered the DCEU universe, considering the following inconsistencies:[1]
    • The heroes featured in this universe look different from the heroes from the DCEU, which implies that this universe was changed from the original script.[1]
    • The original script also implies that the Flash of this universe is killed by an anti-matter wave, but the Flash of Earth-TUD13, who is the Flash of the DCEU is proven to be alive in "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four".[1]
