Martin Stein[src]

Earth is the third planet orbiting the solar system's yellow sun. The planet serves primarily as home to its native race, the human, and came into existence long before the written history of its population.

History

Pre-Crisis

Earth-1

In prehistoric times, Earth-1 was populated by dinosaurs.[1] In the 20th century, some humans began to gain superpowers through various means. They became known as meta-humans, and the threat posed by their abilities attracted the attention of an alien species known as the Dominators. In 1951, the Dominators launched a reconnaissance mission in Redmond, a city in the United States, and waged a battle against the United States Army. The aliens would later return in 2016 with the goal of eradicating all meta-humans after they deemed Barry Allen's ability to travel through time a threat to all of reality.[2] However, they were defeated and forced to retreat by the Earth's heroes with help from Supergirl an alien herself from another universe.

A year later the Earth was attacked again this time being Nazis who originated from Earth- X: A world where the Nazis won WWII instead of the Allies. However fortunately earths heroes received assistance from the resistance of Earth-X and managed to defeat the invasion.

In late 2018, the Earth was tested by the god-like being known as The Monitor who wanted to prepare Earth and it's heroes for a threat that put the entire multiverse at risk. Putting the reality rewriting Book of Destiny in the hands of maddened Arkham Asylum Doctor John Deegan who used the book to rewrite reality in his own twisted image. However he was stopped by The Flash, Green Arrow, Supergirl, and their allies.

Earth-2

Earth-2 was said to had a cleaner climate than Earth-1 due less pollution in the atmosphere. And like Earth-1, in the 20th century, humans had gained superpowers. In this reality Oliver Queen died in the Queen's Gambit boat accident and Robert Queen, Oliver's father, returned to Starling City and became a vigilante known as The Hood and later The Arrow, until years later when he was outed.

Meanwhile, in Central City, an evil meta-human speedster and serial killer known as Zoom, usurped the local government and ruled it with an iron fist along with his gang of metas he either coerced or promised to rule with him. That all changed when Harry Wells went to Earth-1 and got Barry Allen and his team's help. Zoom was eventually banished and made into a figure similar to a time wraith (dubbed "Black Flash") before Killer Frost from Earth-1 killed him almost a year later.

In Gorilla City, Grodd who was banished from Earth-1 decided to make a power play and over usurped Solovar. Then during his raid on Central City in Earth-1, Solovar, freed by Team Flash, challenged Grodd, which Grodd lost. Grodd would be sent back to Earth-1.

Years later, Mar Novu sent Oliver Queen over to Lian Yu where he would be picked up by a fishing boat, which ironically is how he got off the island's Earth-1 counterpart almost eight years ago. He would pose as his Earth-2 counterpart and went back to Starling City so he can pick up a Dwarf star from Queen-Merlyn Enterprises. But the Dark Archer who he discovered was his late friend's counterpart, Tommy Merlyn, wanted to us it to start an Undertaking and destroy The Glades much like his father's Earth-1 counterpart once attempted all to avenge his sister's death after she overdosed on a narcotic. However, Tommy was stopped by Oliver not just in a fight, but imparting his wisdom and appealing to Tommy's better angels. Tommy would turn himself in and was seemingly on the road to redemption. However, it would shortly be discovered that Oliver saving The Glades and Tommy's soul would be for nothing as Earth-2 was destroyed by an Antimatter wave. This left all species from that universe, except meta-humans extinct. Earth-2 meta-humans are an endangered species since only Laurel Lance, Shay Lamden, and Linda Park as the only members of that species to still live.

Earth-38

In prehistoric times, the Earth was populated by dinosaurs.[3] Centuries ago, there was a war on Mars between the Green Martians and the White Martians. However, the White Martians won and destroyed most of the Green Martians with the help of a traitor who was banished to the Phantom Zone and until 2019, he was trapped there. However, all except two Green Martians were all but extinct. The traitor's brother went to Earth.

Sometime before 1965, a hostile alien race known as the Dominators invaded Krypton. They captured and experimented on Kryptonians. However, the Kryptonians driven them off their world.

In the Earth year, 1966, Kara Zor-El of the House of El, was born on Krypton to Zor-El and Alura Zor-El. Her aunt, Astra, would over a decade later, try to warn the government that the planet is on a path to destruction. No one of course believed her. She along with her husband, Non, would become eco-terrorists, but were caught and sent to Fort Rozz within the Phantom Zone. Meanwhile, the Children of Juru were breeding a child of destruction.

In the Earth year, 1979, Kal-El was born to Jor-El and Lara Van-El, but shortly after, as Astra predicted, Krypton was being destroyed from the inside out. Kara and Kal's parents sent them on escape pods as the Children of Juru sent their own child on a pod into space before Krypton exploded, leaving Argo City, with Alura's expertise, the last surviving city and population of Krypton. Kal and the Children of Juru's child made it to Earth, where Kal was raised in Smallville with the Kents and the child was raised by Patricia Arias. However, Kara was locked in the Phantom Zone and was in stasis until 2003. With Indigo's assistance, though she wanted to escape rather than help Kara, escaped the Phantom Zone and arrived on Earth.

When Kara arrived on Earth, she discovered that Kal-El was fully grown and became "Superman," one of Earth's mightiest heroes who went by the alias, "Clark Kent," one of Metropolis's favorite reporters who worked for the Daily Planet. He sent Kara to live with the Danvers family to be raised by Jeremiah and Eliza with her adopted step-sister, Alex. Over the years, Kara would struggle with her powers, but would eventually learn how to use them in secret. However, she was caught by the D.E.O. and Hank Henshaw took Jeremiah with him to work for the D.E.O. in order to keep Kara safe, but was thought to have been killed by Hank when he protected an alien refugeee from Mars from him. The alien, J'onn Jonzz, kept his promise to Jeremiah while posing as Hank. That promise was to keep watch over Kara and Alex and keep them from harm.

Kara and Alex would grow up and become a reporter and a D.E.O. agent respectfully. Together, along with James Olsen, Winn Schott, Lena Luthor, The Legion (consisting of Mon-El, Querl Dox, and Imra Ardeen), as well as Lena Luthor, Nia Nal, and of course Superman and Lois Lane, would take out threats like Astra, Non, Indigo, Project Cadmus, Rhea and her Daxamite army, the Children of Juru and their Worldkillers (led by Selena and Reign respectfully), the Children of Liberty and Lex Luthor. Kara would also during this time would go by the moniker, "Supergirl."

Earth-X

It's an Earth that had very much the same history as Earth-1, except for one difference, the Nazi's had a decisive victory during the Second World War, leaving New York, London, Moscow, and Paris in ruins after the New Reich launched multiple nuclear warheads onto the cities. Adolf Hitler became supreme overlord of Earth as the Fuhrer of the New Reich. He would rule until his death in 1994. But by his death, the planet was ruled by bigotry and hate, murdering anyone who was "undesirable" and indoctrinating the children in military youth groups.

An alien known as Kara crash landed on Earth and was adopted by a Nazi family. Over the years, she was indoctrinated into their corrupt culture, making her into the most deadly of all the New Reich's soldiers. However, because of her Perfect Aryan traits, being white, blonde, and blue eyes, she quickly rose in the ranks. She would catch the eye of the new Führer and would marry him and become General of all his armies. Along with Earth-1's evil speedster from the future, Eobard Thawne as another general, they were an evil unstoppable trio that the Freedom Fighters had to contend with. They seemed unbeatable.

But then hope came from Earth-1 and Earth-38 as Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, Alex Danvers and some members of the Legends came to that Earth in order to put an end to the threat. They succeeded, but only with the death of Martin Stein. However, after the final Führer and Kara died in battle on Earth-1 and Eobard abandoned them, Earth-X was free. A while after the battle, Team Flash (working with Leo Snart) had to deal with one last New Reichsmen, a deadly meta-human known as Siren-X. She escaped to Earth-1's Central City and nearly destroyed the city, but Leo Snart, a member of the Freedom Fighters with Team Flash's assist stopped her and brought in the last of the New Reich's soldiers, leaving the Nazis of Earth-X disbanded and Earth-X a free Earth, thereby restoring the earth to its Pre-World War II state.

Anti-Monitor Crisis

Earth-1

After Oliver Queen and his team completed one last mission for Mar Novu on Lian Yu[4] and Barry Allen and his team put an end to Bloodwork's reign of terror in Central City,[5] the skies turned crimson red over the island, city, and possibly the entire planet concurrently, signaling that the Crisis had begun.

Earth-38

It started off small, with many animals were losing their minds including Spike, who attacked a protestor and other individuals before Supergirl arrived, calming Spike down. Supergirl went to the D.E.O. and reported on how animals were losing their minds suddenly. Suddenly, a global Earthquake struck as Querl Dox pointed out. J'onn J'onzz explained that Mar Novu had warned him that a crisis was on the horizon. The D.E.O. detected a large and impossibly fast moving anomaly cutting through their universe and unless it was stopped, it would consume everything. They determined that the antimatter wave was the source of the earthquakes.

Supergirl and her friends watched in horror as Argo, the last outpost of Krypton, was destroyed by the anomaly. Shortly after, visitors from Earth-1-Lyla Michaels, Oliver Queen, Mia Smoak, Barry Allen, Sara Lance, Kate Kane, and Ray Palmer along with Clark Kent and his wife, Lois Lane-arrived. Clark sadly informed Kara that her mother had perished on Argo along with the rest of the Kryptonians, leaving Kara, Clark, and his and Lois' son, who they launched in an escape pod to Earth, as the only known Kryptonians left. Later, Lyla held a briefing on what was going on and told them that an evil being was destroying the multiverse with this Antimatter wave and that they needed to protect the quantum tower, a construction of the Monitor used to counter the wave long enough to evacuate many of the human and alien civilians from this universe.

Shortly after, Supergirl's sister, Alex Danvers first called the President and informed him of the situation. After the call, he contacted the world government leaders to get their assistance in the evacuation. After informing the president, Alex went to Lena Luthor, who had had a fallout with the Superfriends after Lex told her that Kara and Suprgirl were the same person, and asked for her help, which Lena agreed to do. As Earth's governments prepared the citizens for the planetwide exodus, Lena and Alex successfully developed an advanced portal so they can evacuate all the civilians.

Meanwhile, the heroes of Earth-1 and Earth-38 battled against the Shadow demons while Sara, Querl, and Lois went to Earth-16 to retrieve Jonathan, but discovered that Green Arrow from that universe saved the child from the hostile city the infant landed in. As the heroes were losing the battle on Earth-38, Mar Novu teleported them away to Earth-1. However, Oliver refused to leave until the entire planet was evacuated. He fought until his last breath before Mar Novu teleported him as well just before the Antimatter wave hit the planet. 3 billion of the 7.5 billion citizens of Earth-38 were successfully brought to Earth-1. The Monitor stated that a billion of them would not have made it had Oliver not sacrifice himself. Oliver would die in his bunker surrounded by friends, family and allies.

Post-Crisis

While the remaining heroes and paragons tried their best efforts they were unable to prevent the Anti-Monitor from annihilating all the other earths. However a last minute plan by Pariah allowed him to send the remaining Paragons to the Vanishing Point were they would be safe. After months stranded in the Vanish Point the group was confronted by Oliver Queen who had become a powerful new entity and helped the Paragons escape to where the Anti Monitor was born. A fierce battle then took place where the Paragons held off the Shadow Demons while Oliver with his last breath managed to subdue the Anti-Monitor and create an entire new universe known as Earth-Prime which now consisted of the Earths of Kara and Jefferson Pierce. However the Anti-Monitor soon resurfaced on Earth-Prime and all the revived heroes along with the Paragons came together to defeat the Anti-Monitor once and for all. After a hard fought battle the heroes managed to defeat the Anti-Monitor by dooming him to the fate of continually shrinking.
