Earth was the third planet orbiting the solar system's yellow sun. The planet served primarily as the home planet, but eventually became home to countless aliens, including a number of heroes such as Supergirl, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Dreamer.

The planet was sometimes referred to as Earth-38 in reference to its location in the multiverse. This name was often also used to refer to the universe this planet was located in.

In 2019, the entire planet was vaporised by a wave of antimatter, presumably killing all of the residents that were not relocated to Earth.
