Edge EnerCorp is a company owned and run by Morgan Edge.
History
Mayor George Dean made a deal with the company to operate in Smallville with an article making the front page of the Smallville Gazette.[1]
Morgan Edge told Lana Lang Cushing that she was to find people like herself who had untapped potential and to put them in a training program. Ultimately, Lana chose four people, but not Kyle Cushing, because she was warned by Lois Lane that Morgan was giving super powers to people. Emily Phan, an old friend of Lana's, was chosen by Morgan as the fifth, though Lana rejected her as well.
Meanwhile, Leslie Larr used her super hearing to learn who would track a small shipment of X-kryptonite and to deduce who were their enemies. When Leslie heard Superman fighting John Henry Irons, she then sent out the real shipment.[2]
As Kyle went to Edge EnerCorp to talk to Lana, he saw Leslie who told him that she wished he was part of the leadership training program, and if he wanted, there was a spot for him. Kyle confronted Lana, at work, about denying him a place with the company.[3]
