Elizabeth was born in 1991 to Lex and Erica Luthor. In her youth, she attended Metropolis Prep. Lex used to walk Elizabeth to school almost every day, even the day he was upset. She chose to stay with her father in Metropolis after her parents separated, despite her mother's protests.

After Lex was incarcerated for apparently murdering Boss Moxie, Elizabeth cut all ties and refused to speak with him. To escape the bad publicity of her father's arrest, she moved to England with her mother, where her accent also changed pretty soon.

Elizabeth eventually went to medical school in London and graduated top of her class. At some point, she married an unnamed man.

Even when Lex was released from prison after he was proven to be innocent of Moxie's murder, Elizabeth still refused to meet him, due to his other criminal activities.
