"Villains or vigilantes? Criminals or heroes? From Star City to Central City to Gotham City, Americans have debated this question. Do the ends justify the means? Does the law have to be broken to uphold it? In December 2018, the Star City Police Department answered that question definitively when they officially deputized Oliver Queen, the vigilante known as the Green Arrow."

Emerald Archer: The Hood and the Rise of Vigilantism is a documentary film about Oliver Queen and vigilantism. The film is directed by Marcia Pedowitz, with photography by J.D. Davidson.

Original multiverse

The film presumably began production around 2014. The crew began recording interviews by various people throughout the years until, in 2019, the crew spent a few days following Oliver Queen around.[1]

Erased future

Sometime between 2019 and 2040, the film was banned and all copies were destroyed except for one which was stolen by Mia Smoak in 2040.[1]

New multiverse

After Oliver's death during the crisis, Marcia had retooled the documentary into a memorial for Oliver with new interviews with various members of Team Arrow and even a new interview with Moira Queen who was reincarnated after her son recreated the multiverse.[2]
