Plot
Mari McCabe is running through the city, away from The Arrow and The Flash, who are both urging her to stop. They make various attempts to stop her, but she evades them through the use of mystical, animalistic powers. The Arrow shoots an arrow at her, which explodes in to a net, but she plummets backwards off of the building, falling towards the ground.
Three days prior, Mari wakes up in a prison cell. An officer comes to tell her that her bail has been posted, before she goes to picks up her belongings. The guard returning the items comments on her fashion designs, making her angry, but he shrugs it off. The other guard offers Mari money for her necklace to give to his wife, but she refuses as it's a family heirloom. Outside, she is met by her foster father, Chuck, much to her surprise, concluding that he posted her bail. They go to grab a bite to eat, where Mari describes how she got thrown in jail after stabbing a potential employer, who rudely hit on her, with a pen. As they leave the restaurant, they get jumped by some thugs. Chuck offers his wallet and its contents, but they knock him down before threatening to kill Mari if she doesn't hand over her necklace.
