- For the criminal of Earth-2 who operated under the alias "Mirror Master", see Evan McCulloch.
Dr. Eva McCulloch (died December 11, 2013) was a renowned quantum engineer, and the founder and CEO of McCulloch Technologies. She was also the wife of the late Joseph Carver.
On the night of the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion, Eva was accidentally thrown into a mirror and killed on impact. However, the dark matter created a mirror duplicate of herself that would be trapped in the Mirrorverse for the next six years.
Biography[]
Early life[]
At some point, Eva founded McCulloch Technologies, with her husband Joseph Carver becoming the company's CEO.[1] One of her inventions was the prismatic refractor.[2]
Eva believed that a dimension existed with inverse properties, but had no way to prove it. Although she was a renowned scientist, her critics wanted proof, so Eva started work on a machine to transverse the dimensions.[3]
Death[]
- "You're not my wife. My wife died in the particle accelerator explosion."
- —Joseph Carver to Eva's duplicate[src]
On the night of the particle accelerator explosion, Eva was accidentally thrown into a mirror and died on impact, creating a mirror duplicate of herself that would be trapped in the Mirrorverse for the next 6 years.[4][5]
Legacy[]
Eva McCulloch found video footage of the death of Earth-Prime's Eva and learned that she was a mirror duplicate,[5] verifying that Joseph Carver was telling the truth when he said that she was "not human".[6]
