- "Where the hell did they go?"
- —Hank Heywood[src]
An illusion spell was used by John Constantine to cover the Legends' tracks with an illusionary double.
Overview[]
The spell is based on creating an illusionary double and sending it the other way, confusing one's foes and warding them away from the intended target. After some time the illusionary double disappears.[1]
The spell's incantation is in Latin, the language of the Roman Empire.
Incantation[]
Absconditus Domus... Dos Domus... Dos Domus... (casting)
History[]
John Constantine used this spell during the Legends' escape on the run from Time Bureau in the times of Richard Nixon. Chased by Hank Heywood and Nate Heywood, he created an illusionary double of their van before a crossroads, leaving Hank to pursue the double. After some time, the illusionary van disappeared, leaving Hank and Nate dumbfounded.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
- The incantation used by John actually means "conceal house", so perhaps the spell's intention is to conceal the target, while the specific method is up to the force behind primordial powers.
