The Chronicles of Cisco

For the web series of the same name, see Chronicles of Cisco.

The Chronicles of Cisco was an official website companion of The Flash on Tumblr from February 24, 2015 to September 17, 2019 and on Instagram from October 13, 2019 to March 22, 2020. The posts (published by Cisco Ramon) told the stories and the reflections of the eponymous character set in the Arrowverse. The posts were telling the thoughts of Cisco on the events that occurred in the episodes of The Flash or the chapters of The Flash: Season Zero aired or released before the post's publication date.

History[]

The blog began on February 24, 2015 with a post dealing with Shawna Baez/Peek-a-Boo.^[1]

On April 19, 2016, The CW launched a web series named Chronicles of Cisco in order to promote The Chronicles of Cisco.^[2]

Since mid-2019, the website introduction has been updated to reflect Cisco Ramon's life after taking the meta-human cure. On September 17, 2019, the blog was moved as Cisco states he is taking his blog to Instagram instead of Tumblr.

Trivia[]

Among the referenced characters is Heath Ledger's Joker, described by Cisco Ramon as a fictional character, whom he compared to Zoom.
Cisco often references Star Wars, using the events of the saga for metaphors and allusions, as well as commenting on The Force Awakens.
Cisco compares himself to Gandalf from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
Jesse Wells is described as a masterful player of video games, beating Cisco in Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Dance Dance Revolution.
Cisco references religious persona several times, particularly those of the Bible, like St. Peter, hinting at his possible religious upbringing.
Cisco also mentions that he is generally trying to keep tabs on Earth-1 criminals and meta-humans via social media, saying that Golden Glider's Instagram is on point, but Peek-a-Boo still won't accept his friend request.
