The Fusion cannon is a high-energy weapon formed from the combination of a high-power, high-range laser (like Lex Luthor's Marathon Laser capable of firing a concentrated beam of light 26.2 miles) and a particle amplifier which was stolen from the satellite base. According to Brainiac-5, the Fusion Cannon isn't supposed to be invented until the 22nd century.

The Fusion cannon is a powerful weapon first developed in the 22nd century by unnamed scientists who combined Lex Luthor's Marathon Laser and a particle amplifier and discovered that the combined technologies created an immensely powerful weapon.
In late 2019, Rip Roar stole the Fusion Cannon to blast a hole in Lake Vostok but it was later recovered by the D.E.O..[1]
