The Flame of Py'tar is a type of matter that; allows an individual (specifically Kalanorians) to generate or manipulate fire-like energy. The Flame of Py'tar is also the second most powerful and dangerous energy source in existence; second only to antimatter.

The Flame of Py'tar is a power source that; grants several powers to it's user; such as energy projection, pyrokinesis and superhuman durability. As the Flame of Py'tar is a magical alien energy source, it can also operate in ways normal fire can't.
History[]
When the planet Kalanor came into existence, the planet was powered by a sentient force known as the Flame of Py'tar. Overtime, the planet's inhabitants known as the Kalanorians learned how to harness the Flame of Py'tar and use it for a variety of purposes. Due to Despero's incredible powers gifted to him; by his connection to the Flame of Py'tar, he became a dictator on his home world, in a near future; but Despero was banished to Earth, where he traveled to the past and used his powers to attack Central City and the Flash. In their last battle, the Flash removed Despero's connection to the Flame of Py'tar, causing his death.[1]
