The Flash Museum is an institution dedicated to the Flash that will be inaugurated sometime between 2018 and 2024.

History

When running through the Speed Force to travel back to 2000 and save his mother, Barry caught a glimpse of the yet-to-be-inaugurated museum.[1]

Between 2018 and 2024, the Flash Museum will be inaugurated in the same building as the S.T.A.R. Labs, with Mr. Myles becoming the museum's curator.[2]

Sections

The currently known section is:

Hall of Villains

The Hall of Villains is a section of the Flash Museum. Inagurated on the same room that was known as Speed lab, some time before 2032, the section's goal is to present information about the many villains that the Flash has fought over the years, most notably Reverse-FlashZoomSavitarthe Thinker and Cicada, and also showcase their equipment.

In 2032, Nora West-Allen visited the Hall of Villains. During the visit, she was mostly interested about Cicada, a villain that the Flash and even other well known superheroes (including Green ArrowSupergirl, Legends and the League) were never able to beat.

Artifacts

The Hall of Villains showcases many of the suits and other equipment that the Flash's enemies had used over the years. Items on display include the Reverse-Flash suit equipped with a Tachyon Device, the Zoom suit, Savitar's armor, the Thinker's Hoverchair, Amunet Black's suit, Dr. Light suit, the Trickster suit, the Wizard's Wand, Zoom's speed-dampening mask and more.

Behind the scenes

  • In DC comics, the Flash Museum is a facility designed by Dexter Myles dedicated to all heroes who had the Flash alias, mainly Barry Allen, but also includes Jay Garrick and Wally West. It also features artifacts belonging to the Flash Rogues including the Reverse-Flash, Captain Cold and Weather Wizard. It also houses the Cosmic treadmill.
  • It's unknown how the Zoom suit and Savitar's armor were collected to be shown at the museum, as they were destroyed by Killer Frost and Barry Allen respectively in "Finish Line". Zoom's speed-dampening mask, which was also seen in the museum, had likewise been destroyed by Jay Garrick in "The Race of His Life". Presumably, these artifacts had been replicated for display purposes.
  • In "Things You Can't Outrun"" Barry jokingly told Joe he didn't want a museum built in his name.
